Community agreement
Everyone on Angel Circle agrees to this when they join. Angels also take the pledge at the bottom.
Everyone agrees to
- Never ask for, offer or send money, gift cards, crypto or payment of any kind.
- Be honest about what you need and what you can give.
- Treat people with dignity. No judgement, no lectures, no photos of people you help without their permission.
- Keep what you learn about other people private.
- Keep conversations in Angel Circle until you're both comfortable, and meet in public places.
- Follow the decisions of Guardian Angels, who can remove content and pause accounts to keep people safe.
What Angel Circle is and isn't
Angel Circle is a volunteer-run introduction service. We don't provide goods or services ourselves, and we can't guarantee any match. We are not a crisis service, a charity that hands out money, or a substitute for professional advice. In an emergency, call 911.
Professional services offered by Service Angels are provided by them, under their own licence and professional obligations.
The Angel pledge
- I'll help without expecting anything in return, and I'll never ask for money.
- I'll respect people's privacy and never share their situation.
- I'll show up when I say I will, or say so early if I can't.
- I'll verify my identity with a Guardian Angel and keep my conversations on Angel Circle.
- I'll report anything that doesn't feel right.
