What we collect

• Your email address and the name you choose, from signing in.
• Your country, province or region, city and the first characters of your postal code. Never your full address.
• What you write in requests, offers, applications and messages.
• Verification notes Guardian Angels record, like “video call, photo ID matched”. We don't store copies of ID.

Who sees what

• Angels see a short summary of a request, its category and its area. They never see your name, email or the full request until a Guardian Angel matches you.
• After a match, you each see the other's first name and your conversation.
• Guardian Angels see requests, profiles and conversations in the area they look after, so they can keep people safe.
• We never sell your information or show ads.

Where it's stored

Profiles, requests and messages are stored in Microsoft Azure data centres in the United States, and the service runs in Canada. We plan to move storage to Canada. Sign-in is handled by Microsoft Entra. Text you submit is checked by Azure AI Content Safety to detect crisis language and abuse. Email updates are sent through our email provider and only say that something happened, never the details of your request.

Your choices

• Download everything we hold about you from Settings.
• Delete your account from Settings. We remove your profile, close your open requests and remove your offers. Messages you sent in past matches stay visible to the people in that conversation and to Guardian Angels, so safety reports can still be reviewed.
• Turn off email updates at any time.
