Become an Angel
Today you might need an Angel; tomorrow you might be one. Anyone can take the pledge, including people who've asked for help here. Most Angels give an hour or a bag of groceries now and then, and that's enough to change someone's week.
Angel
Offer things and time to neighbours near you. Take the pledge, then confirm your identity on a short video call before your first match.
Other ways to help
These roles take a little more checking, so you'll apply and a Guardian Angel or the team will get back to you.
Service Angel
You're a licensed professional (therapist, lawyer, accountant, mechanic, electrician) offering free or low-cost hours.
We check your licence on your regulator's public register.
Corporate Angel
Your business donates surplus food, products or services. You'll be thanked publicly on the home page if you'd like.
We confirm the business is real and talk to a contact person.
Guardian Angel
You look after an area: reading requests, verifying Angels by video call and making matches. Expect a few hours a week.
You meet someone from the team in person, with photo ID, before you start.
